SALARY CALCULATOR · INDIA
Work out your monthly and annual in-hand salary from your CTC, whatever your paycheck looks like. The calculator uses FY 2026-27 Indian tax rules, PF, gratuity and state professional tax.
CALCULATOR
Enter your CTC above and click “Calculate in-hand salary” to see your estimated breakup.
MONTHLY & ANNUAL
The calculator returns both your monthly gross (cash pay before deductions) and your monthly in-hand (what lands in your account), plus the annual equivalents. That makes it easy to budget month-to-month or compare an annual offer letter.
COMPONENTS
Enter your annual CTC and the calculator estimates gross salary (fixed + variable cash), then deducts employee PF, professional tax and income tax to reach take-home. It factors in your tax regime (new or old), your location for professional tax, and whether variable pay is assumed fully payable.
DEDUCTIONS
Enter your own CTC to see your estimated monthly take-home based on your tax regime, location and salary structure.

Gross salary is your total cash pay before deductions (basic + HRA + allowances + variable). Net salary (or take-home / in-hand) is gross minus employee PF, professional tax and income tax.
Yes — professional tax is a state levy. States like Karnataka and Maharashtra charge roughly ₹2,400–2,500 a year, while Delhi does not charge it. The calculator applies the state you select.
Income tax is deducted from your cash salary based on your tax regime and taxable income. Under the new regime for FY 2026-27 the tax-free threshold is ₹4L (₹12L with the rebate), and higher income is taxed at higher slab rates.
